Outreach
We live in an increasingly internationalized environment that puts detailed knowledge about others at a premium. As Germany and Europe evolve and relations between Europe and the United States enter a new phase, there is an increasing need for Americans and Europeans to exchange information, expertise, and perspectives. To this end, CGES has created a number of venues that reach a broad and diverse audience also beyond the university. Our audiences range from citizens of all ages to business people and professionals all the way to decision-makers.
Past and present partners in CGES outreach programming include the German Embassy to the United States, the American Council on Germany, the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Germany, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the United States Embassy to Germany, the Goethe Institute, and Twin Cities Public Television.
